A regular career development program allows HeroITES employees to grow laterally (e.g. from operations to quality or training) and vertically (through accelerated promotion programs based on merit). We have a well-defined and robust procedure of internal job postings, which includes group discussions and personal interviews. At HeroITES, 80% of our openings are filled through internal job postings. Besides promotions, we also identify the training needs of our employees and conduct many in-house training programs which lead to overall development of our employees. Space for Vertical Growth: We never hire an immediate supervisor if an existing employee can fill the vacancy within six to nine months (Potential Mapping). For every vacancy, we evaluate if we have a suitable candidate within the organization who can take up the position.

Career Mapping and Succession Planning: We try and conduct counselling sessions with employees and let them know how their career can shape up with us. We show them the growth path but do not make any undeliverable promises. We focus on lateral movements along with vertical movements and educate our people.
