Ashish Roy – Assistant Vice-President, Technology

Ashish has been associated with the Company since October 2002, and as Assistant Vice-President, Technology, he is responsible for the entire range of IT activities in HeroITES. As a member of the Leadership Team, he is also actively involved in all strategic decisions of the Company. Ashish currently holds the additional responsibility of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and manages IT Security Operations & Audit Liaison. He has been actively involved in Information Security Management, Monitoring & Testing, Audit Liaison & Controls Management and Security Risk Analysis & Control Management.

Ashish has a rich work experience of 16 years in the domains of Information Technology, Telecommunications, eCommerce, Software Development and Information Security. He has worked with reputed organizations such as Netedge Computing Solutions, Inlab-Harris Telecommunications, Fifth Generation Software Ltd., Nucon Infovision Ltd., Anderson Communications etc. in various capacities. During his last assignment, Ashish was working with MarkOne Technocoms, New Delhi, as Senior Consultant – IT Projects.

In his current capacity, Ashish has been successful in streamlining the functioning of Information Technology at HeroITES. He has leveraged his rich experience in IT and Telecom to introduce new technologies and innovate successfully. Ashish has guided HeroITES throughout the BS7799:2-2002 certification process for Information Security. He has also initiated and implemented a number of processes and systems in IT & Telecom for smooth and efficient functioning.

Ashish is a Post Graduate in Biochemistry. He is also holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from BDPS Inc., Shillong. Ashish is a Certified BS7799:2 Lead Auditor by KPMG Quality Registrar and Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH) from EC Council, USA.
